Ge-type
ceramics, created by Sung dynasty court's potters in
about the middle half of the 12th century, are grayish
white ceramics glazed with a close crackle. The Ge-type
ceramics had become the inspiration for the latter
potters ever since. Especially in the 18th and 19th
century, the Ge-type became so popular that many high
quality imitations were produced during this period of
time.
Today, we proudly present an extensive collection of
large size Ge-type ceramics including many kinds of
vases, censors, drum, plate and doll. All of them
produced in the 19th century with a decoration of
Ge-type
golden thread and iron line glaze. Our highlights are a
variety of vases and censors.
